Wonderland.

"I'm just scratching the surface. Right now people
are like, ‘Oh, you did it’ but they don't know what
you’ve got planned or what you aspire to do next.
They don't really understand what you had to do
to get to this point. I still feel like it's towards the
beginning of my story and my journey. But I don't
expect them to know that. You’ve got to show them.
There's a lot I want to achieve within music, and
there's so much more outside of music too."

Metro Boomin is the man of the moment. His
disruptive albums We Don't Trust You and We
Still Don't Trust You – featuring everyone from
Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott to Rick Ross
and Playboi Carti – have seen him and collaborator
Future write Hip-Hop history and earn themselves
chart-topping success. Thanks to the albums'
monumental success, the producer extraordinaire
now finds himself plastered across headlines in
the press, dissected at-large in dedicated TikToks
and found on multiple billboards – in essence,
everyone wants some Metro Boomin. But, when
he sits down with long-term friend and collaborator,
producer and rapper Nav, he only has one thing
on his mind: taking this moment and using it to
propel him to the status of a fully-fledged creative.
As Metro covers our Summer 24 issue, the pair
chat the meaning of G.O.A.T. status, the power of
carving out your own legacy and Metro's plans to
push past the role of 'producer' to achieve even more.
